ENSC 120 - Organismal Biology and Chemistry of the Environment

Credits: 4
Integrates the chemical and biological concepts regulating metabolic, ecological, and evolutionary phenomena impacting the environment. Introduces thermodynamics, energy kinetics and nutrient flow in ecosystems. Redox and other metabolic reactions related to energy flow in the biosphere. Explores biological and chemical drivers of pollution, evolution, and ecological interactions. Lecture and Lab.
