AVI 411 - Transition to the Aviation/Aerospace Industry
Credits: 3
A juniorand senior-level course designed to help the student to focus on a particular career path in the aviation or aerospace industry. Directed discussions, individual and group assignments, and guest speakers may be incorporated to provide increased knowledge about career opportunities in the field of aviation. Course topics include defining “the professional,” the “professional in aviation,” resume writing, interviewing skills, setting goals, public speaking and presentation skills, and networking.
Prerequisite(s): AVI 100 , AVI 220 , Aviation major with junior standing or written consent from the Program Director/or the instructor.
