BIOL 220 - General Zoology Credits: 4 (formerly BIOL 301) A course in basic animal biology that emphasizes and examines in a phylogenetic framework the origin, structure and function, reproduction and development, and comparative anatomy of representative animal phyla. Required laboratory component consisting of specimen dissection and identification. Lecture: three hours; laboratory two hours.
