ENGL 365 - Special Topics in Black Literature Credits: 3 This course is a critical analysis of current issues and topics in the study of Black authors. The instructor rotates, choosing topics to highlight their expertise and the current conversations in the field. Topics will vary year to year and may include genre studies, thematic approaches, author studies, literary time periods, text and adaptation, or focus on the application of a specific literary theory in African American, African, and Diasporic literatures. Can be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 103 and Sophomore Standing Offered: F.
