ENGL 440 - Bible As Literature Credits: 3 Introduction to the Bible as literature. Students read the major books of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) and the four Gospels, Acts, major Epistles, and Revelation in the New Testament. Rather than focusing on doctrine, the course accents aesthetic values in scripture.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 103 and Junior Standing. Offered: S (alternating years).
