CHEM 200 - Additional Topics in General Chemistry Credits: 3 Provides the biological, and /or the physical science major the opportunity to fill in any gaps that may exist in terms of the chemical topics needed to successfully pursue advanced knowledge in his or her chosen field of study. Needed topics not normally covered during enrollment in CHEM 101 and CHEM 102 will be undertaken. Topics such as acid-base equilibria, intermolecular forces, liquids, solids; modern materials; properties of solutions; chemical kinetics; chemical equilibrium will be discussed. Lecture: Three hours per week.
