BIOL 215 - Anatomy & Physiology Credits: 4 First course of a two-semester sequence in conjunction with BIOL 216 . Students are exposed to a basic foundation in normal physiology and functional anatomy of human organ systems. Topics covered are: cell physiology, histology, integument, and skeletal, muscular, nervous, and sensory systems. Emphasis on the interaction of structure and function and the homeostasis mechanisms in the human body. Lecture: three hours; laboratory: two hours.
