SOWK 210 - Fundamentals of Interviewing Credits: 3 This course introduces the various skills needed in conducting professional interviews. Students gain knowledge and practice skills to interact and engage with individuals and families. Specials emphasis is placed on communication skills, verbal and non-verbal behaviors, and professional observations (first course in the professional social work practice sequence).
