POLS 305 - Political Theory Credits: 3 Examines, evaluates and possibly alters students’ personal value commitments through an exposure to varying political theories that have been adopted in addressing persistent political problems. Topics such as: political associations, the role of politics in personal growth, competing theories of justice; liberalism; conservatism; feminism; freedom and self-actualization, representation, social cohesion; the idea of moral communities are all theories covered in this class.
