EDUC 612 - Home, School, Community Relations Credits: 3 Accomplished teachers and educational leaders use their knowledge of the social and cultural contexts that shape student development to support child-centered productive relationships. Students use a case-study approach to investigate these relationships. Included is an examination and analysis of these institutions and the impact of mass media on public support. Analyses must include suggestions or modifications that reflect their deeper understanding of the interrelationship of contexts in supporting instruction from a child-centered point of view. Participants will develop and present a workshop informed by the case analysis.
