EM 203 - Maritime Safety and Sustainability

Students are introduced to a wide range of topics within marine safety, regulations, and sustainability. This is a survey course intended to provide students with a foundation in which to build. Topics include marine safety, water safety, boating safety, marine policy, and sustainability at an introductory level. This course incorporates hands-on learning, peer-to-peer learning, and a variety of projects and collaboration.
