EDUC 473 - Observation and Supervised Teaching in Special Education

Credits: 12
Experience in teaching under the supervision and guidance of personnel certified in Mental Retardation. Observation of teaching methods and procedures, emphasizing individualized planning. The student teacher is provided an opportunity to take full teaching responsibility with daily evaluation and conferences.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of all coursework; Advisor approval; Admission to the Educator Preparation Program. Students must complete a background check.
