CJ 207 - Wrongful Convictions and Exoneration


Credits: 3
This course will focus on systemic errors in the American criminal justice system that lead to the conviction of innocent people. The course will also address questions about the consequences of wrongful conviction by looking at life after exoneration and the resources available to individuals who have been exonerated. Finally, the course will address individual and institutional responses to wrongful conviction.
