CHEM 402 - Biochemistry II Credits: 3 Provides a broad overview of the key concepts in biochemistry. Topics to be covered include lipids and amino acids metabolism and metabolic diseases processes. The nucleic acid structure and function, DNA replication, transcription, translation, signal transduction, and regulation of gene expression in prokaryotes and eukaryotes will be covered widely. The course also covered topics include cell cycle regulation and cancer biology. Lecture: three hours per week.
